When a person is suffering the pain of acute emotional upheaval or traumatic life circumstance, immediate intervention can minimize distress and disruption, at the same time preventing an escalation of the crisis.

CCBC is able to intervene in ways that can quickly address the problem. The latest methods in treatment and research keep clients in their families, in their communities, receiving the care they need. Our acute care services are local, not disruptive to support systems, and return the client to the optimum level of life role functioning as soon as possible.

Before going to Pathways, I would be very unstable alot of the time, that was sort of my baseline. Now I have stability as my baseline, it's really awesome.

- Raquel, a CCBC client

You get a sense of confidence and self-worth. My self-esteem has been steadily increasing, which is pretty cool.

- Kristen, a CCBC client

I do feel like I have so many possibilities, like there's just so much that I can do, and so much that I want to do.

- Kimberly, a CCBC client

... it's like a second family to me. I'm finally finding myself and who Valerie is again.

- Valerie, a CCBC client

... the best thing I ever did in my life was to go to Pathways, because I don't know where I'd be right now.
