Description of Position

We are currently seeking a Clinical Supervisor to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support youth in their recovery goals. You will provide supervision to MA and BA level staff, maintain a small caseload and support our team in providing evidence-based clinical interventions, parenting education and symptom management strategies. As a member of the PACT-Y team, you will use a person-centered approach to enhance family functioning, promote stabilization, and encourage growth and resilience as youth make the transition into adulthood.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the team in collaboration with the Program Director
  • Maintain communication with the Program Director about team functioning and training needs
  • Monitor compliance with documentation guidelines and program specifications
  • Provide supervision/training on family engagement and treatment modalities for staff providing individual and family therapy
  • Provide safety planning and crisis intervention
  • Complete required documentation in the electronic health record
  • Coordinate care with the family, team, providers and DMH
  • Provide on-call and weekend support on a rotating basis

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or a related field
  • License required (LMHC, LICSW, LMFT)
  • 5 years of experience working with children, youth and families with mental health challenges
  • Experience providing supervision
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Good organizational skills, in addition to effective verbal, written and computer skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience providing trauma-informed interventions
  • Understanding of family systems and family therapy
  • Familiarity with electronic health records
