Description of Position

CCBC is seeking an individual to coordinate the Certified Application Counselor (CAC) program. In this part-time role (20 hours per week), you will collaborate with the Vice President of Housing and Community Initiatives to oversee this service, deliver direct services, and manage documentation for individuals who are applying for MassHealth on the Health Connector.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate CAC program: Work with the VP to become the Lead CAC to coordinate all CAC services for CCBC
  2. Manage applications: Process MassHealth applications on the Assister Portal
  3. Community Outreach: Conduct regular visits to designated sites in the community. Work with the VP to Coordinate the Sturdy project with Manet including scheduled visits to Attleboro to meet with clients in need of MassHealth enrollments or redeterminations
  4. Training: Attend the Health Connector Lead CAC Trainings and hold meetings with all CCBC CAC’s to disseminate information.
  5. Maintain Documentation: Complete all documentation as required by MassHealth and Sturdy/Manet.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field required.
  • Experience: Experience working with adults or community-based outreach is highly valued.
  • Skills: Strong documentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
