Description of Position
Behavioral Healthcare Center seeks candidates with knowledge of the billing revenue cycle, adhering to all HIPAA regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Daily Claims Entry, Prior Authorizations and Referrals, Benefits Verifications, Accounts Receivable Follow-Up, Claim Denials Resolution, Corrected Claims and Appeals Process, Maintain Quality and Productivity Standards, Handle Incoming Telephone Calls, Review and Reconciliation of Patient Accounts, Performs other clerical duties as needed.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent; familiarity with MassHealth, Medicare and Commercial insurers preferred. Experience with Behavioral Health Medical Billing/Coding a plus.
Candidates must have ability to multitask and work well both independently and with a team. Excellent internal and external customer service skills required.
